Saturday Walk
We beat the rain that was forecast for a very enjoyable walk to the uninhabited village Camuscoille on the Coigach peninsula. The purpose of the walk was actually to put out some feeding blocks for sheep which are living out there. The blocks are stored in a drum. It doesn’t take long to put them out. We turned the wee bit of work into an outing with picnic.
Of course the dogs came as well
Nice bench outside one of the houses, though pretty chilly!
Picnic time
Warming up with a dram
Goodbye to Camuscoille
On the way back, one has a splendid view of the township of Achnahaird in the foreground, Achiltibuie quite a few miles behind, and in the distance beyond Loch Broom the mighty An Teallach mountain range.
